On your futures account did you look at your P/L before commissions and fees?
No I didn't. I know that info is important to some people, but to me it's just part of doing business.
Considering that I'm not that active and these are all just one lot trades, I doubt the chart would look much different if I did back out the $5 commissions on each trade.
I work full time from home, day-trading the mini's and swing trading stocks. I'm able to do this not because I'm that good yet, but because I'm lucky enough to have a wife with a good job and benefits.
Trading has been my toughest challenge, I've started three businesses, and while that wasn't easy, it was nothing compared to trading.
In no way am I trying to pass myself off as an expert. This blog is not meant to be any thing more than a journal documenting my attempt to trade for a living.
